Eric Kempson - Sculpture in Wood

In 1999 Eric Kempson, with his wife and baby daughter,
drove across Europe from England in their Winnebago mobile home,
and settled in the north of Lesvos.

They now live in an olive grove by the sea with their four dogs and numerous cats,
where Eric uses the natural shapes and textures of the local olive- and driftwood,
(and a few stones from the nearby beaches)
to create his highly distinctive sculptures and constructions.

In his spare time he fishes and builds. (The Winnebago is now his tool store)
